Sun Coast Proudly Supports Warrior Sailing’s West Coast Swing

Sun Coast General Insurance is proud to support Warrior Sailing as they continue their mission of helping wounded, ill, and injured service members and veterans through sailing.

While sailing is at the center of the program, the mission goes much deeper than time on the water. Warrior Sailing provides maritime education and outreach designed to support wellness, recovery, and reintegration for those who have served. The organization uses sailing as a platform to help participants strengthen teamwork and reconnect with the kind of camaraderie many experienced during military service.

That mission matters to us. The freedoms we enjoy every day come from the sacrifices of service members who have given so much for our country. Many return home carrying physical, mental, and emotional injuries that can last a lifetime. Supporting Warrior Sailing is one way we can help honor those sacrifices and support programs that give back to the people who have served.

Through its training programs, Warrior Sailing introduces participants to sailing and maritime safety while encouraging leadership, self-reliance, and connection. Their programs are built around education, empowerment, and sustained involvement in the sailing community.

We were honored to receive a recent shoutout from the Warrior Sailing team in their May 2026 recap video as they prepare for their upcoming West Coast Swing, including their stop in San Diego.
